Designed by Juma. Simple class A push-pull power amplifier with lateral MOSFETs. 19W peak for 8 Ohm, 34W peak for 4 Ohm speakers.

MEASURES

  • Rails: +/- 17VDC under load

  • DC offset at speaker teminals: +/- 50mV cold, +/- 2mV hot

  • BIAS: 0.75A

  • Gain: 20dB

  • THD+N (at 1 Watt into 8 Ohms at 1kHz): 0.1%

  • THD (at 1 Watt into 8 Ohms at 1kHz): 0.08%

NOTES

  • R11 and R13 changed to 62 Ohm so the current through Q6, Rx, Ry, Q7 is about 10mA.

  • Exicon ECX10P20 and ECX10N20 MOSFETs from Profusion

  • Matched Toshiba JFETs from FET Audio
